Frontline Fabrications has many years experience in fabricating and installing structural and architectural grade balustrade, fencing and barriers. Our portfolio consists of works ranging from steel and glass balustrade for high-rise, to public and private infrastructure / structural grade fencing and barriers that are weld tested to code. Frontline has the in-house capacity to fabricate hundreds of meters of rated balustrade, fencing and barriers per month, and our pricing agreements with key suppliers means that we can be more competitive in tender with all the biggest fabricators in the country.

Our project team of construction managers, structural engineers and steel draftsmen / detailers all have experience on the most complex and demanding structural steel projects. By proxy, Frontline has developed a rigorous quality assurance system with multiple hold points at nearly all stages of the design, fabrication and installation process to ensure everything meets the Australian code / standards, and the technical specifications set by the client.

Frontline can offer the following balustrade, barrier and fencing services:

  • Small and large scale non-government residential works ranging from small house renovations to apartment and high-rise structures.
  • Infrastructure steel to meet rigorous government and client technical specifications.
  • Walkways and access platforms including grating, ladder and handrails all certified to the required specification.
  • Aluminium and marine grade stainless handrails to suit highly corrosive environments.
  • Bespoke and architectural handrails including use of custom cut glass.

  • Balustrade, fencing and barrier steel engineering and detailing in accordance with AS/NZS 4100.
  • Fabrication and welding in accordance with AS/NZS 1554.
  • Installation in accordance with AS/NZS 4680, AS/NZS 4100 & AS/NZS 1554.
  • Hot-Dip Galvanising certified and in accordance with AS 2312, powder coating and sprayed zinc primed finishes.
  • Non – Destructive weld testing (NDT) – Visual Inspection, Magnetic Particle Inspection & Radiographic Inspection in accordance with AS/NZS 3978, AS/NZS 1171 & AS/NZS 2177.
